Polish cemetery in Brighton

The Polish cemetery in Brighton, Tasmania, is a vestige of the Polish displacement camp that was established there after the Second World War. As a result of post-war arrangements, Poles from the Anders Army and their families were brought there. They lived in barracks and were initially employed to build hydroelectric power stations in Tasmania.
