The Polish House in Český Těšín was located in the building of Hotel Piast, built in 1931 by the Savings and Advances Society. This building served as an important centre of socio-cultural life for the Polish community in Zaolzie. It housed not only the Polish House, but also the "Polonia" restaurant and café and the aforementioned hotel. The building was also the seat of Polish social organisations.
