Polish Honorary Military Cemetery in Breda

The Polish Honorary Military Cemetery in Breda, is the largest Polish war cemetery in the Netherlands. It was opened on 24 June 1963. It contains the grave of General Stanislaw Maczek, who is buried there together with his soldiers. The cemetery has a total of 162 graves, a cross-shaped monument with the inscription "FOR YOUR FREEDOM AND OUR FREEDOM" in both Polish and Dutch, and the General Maczek Museum-Memorial.
