Monument to Tadeusz Kosciuszko in Zhovkva

There was a monument to Tadeusz Kosciuszko in Zhovkva. The commemoration in the form of a column existed in this town until 1918, when it was destroyed. Then, in 1925, the monument was rebuilt. A medallion with Kościuszko's likeness was placed in the central part of the pedestal. The whole was crowned by a sculpture of an eagle with outstretched wings.
