Votive Monument to Marianna and Thomas Markyz

Довжанка | Ukraine

Transferred headstone, in the form of a cross on a pedestal, two-stage plinth and base. Simple cross, arms terminating in caps, the lower frame gabled into a moulded plinth. At the intersection of the arms Christ crucified with legs supported on a skull with crossed tibias. The base with chamfered upper edges. The first step of the plinth surmounted by moulding, decorated on each side with panels enclosed in quarter circles at the corners. The second step of the pedestal on the front with engraved inscription, the other sides decorated with quarter circular panels at the corners.
