Remnants of the Yojma specposiolk in the Piniega area

Yozhma Specpossol is located in the vicinity of Piniega, in the Arkhangelsk region of the Russian Federation. The Yozhma settlement was established in 1930 by dispossessed peasants displaced from central Russia. By 1940, they had been relocated from there, and their place was taken by Poles: 63 families, 279 people in total. Today, all that remains of the specpossiolk are barracks destroyed by the passage of time.
