Cemetery with Polish graves.

The monument to Jan III Sobieski was erected in 1883 in the form of an obelisk. It was founded by the citizens of the town on the 200th anniversary of the relief of Vienna.

Completed works:
The project consisted of cleaning, minor repair work and basic conservation work on selected Polish graves in the Janowska Cemetery in Lviv.

Funding: Polish Institute's programme "Polish cultural heritage abroad - volunteering".

Narodowy Instytut Polskiego Dziedzictwa Kulturowego za Granicą POLONIKA od 2019 roku prowadzi program własny pod nazwą „Polskie dziedzictwo kulturowe za granicą – wolontariat”.

Program wspiera zaangażowanie społeczne w ochronę materialnych elementów polskiego dziedzictwa kulturowego pozostającego poza granicami kraju.
