2020
The project consisted of conservation and restoration work on three paintings that are part of the Polish art collection at the headquarters of the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York.

Three paintings were refreshed as part of the project:

"Last Journey", Jacek Malczewski (1894, oil on canvas);

"Figure No. 84", Jan Lebenstein (1960, oil on canvas);

'Cracovie I', Tadeusz Kantor (oil and collage on canvas).

The paintings are located in the Foundation's headquarters, in the representative part of the office - a place where open meetings, concerts, lectures and talks are held. The works are the property of the Kosciuszko Foundation.

2021
The project consisted of carrying out conservation and restoration work on three paintings that form part of the Polish art collection at the Kosciuszko Foundation's headquarters in the USA. The works included:

"Portrait of a Scholar" by Jan Matejko (1838-1893);

"Polonia" by Jan Styka (1858-1925);

"Sisters of Charity with Orphans" by Antoni Gramatyka (1841-1922).

The restoration and conservation of the above-mentioned works is a continuation of the Foundation's efforts to restore the splendour of successive paintings held at the Kosciuszko Foundation's headquarters in New York. These works of art provide an opportunity for anyone visiting the Foundation's building to directly experience the art and history of Poland.
