Information about the object:
The building is a manifestation of the highly developed artistic culture of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, closely connected with the western centres of European civilisation and art. The preserved painting decorations date from the 16th to 18th centuries, and are testimony to the interior design over a period of more than 200 years.

Completed works:
The project included the second stage of conservation work on the wall polychromes of the southern wall of the chancel of the Church of St. Francis and St. Bernard in Vilnius, Lithuania. Technical work continued on the polychromy in the chancel in terms of the technical treatment of the wall and the murals, removal of the cement and

Funding: Programme of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage "Protection of Cultural Heritage Abroad".
