Information about the object:
The organ, which was conserved as part of the project, was built in 1883 in the well-known and respected organ-building workshop of Ignacy and Aleksander Żebrowski from Lviv. A high-class historical pipe organ built according to the principles of the so-called historical continuity, i.e. in the organ-building style, craftsmanship and workmanship of the past centuries, has been preserved until our times. The preserved matter of the elements is largely original. The organ was built in 1883 in the workshop of the Lviv organ-builders Ignacy and Aleksander Žebrowski. A number of historical documents testify to the authorship and date of construction of the organ - a mention of the Meissen organ can be found in the advertisements of I. Information about the construction of the organ in Mosciski by I. Zebrowski can be found in the periodical "Dobry Pasterz" (The Good Shepherd) of 16 April 1883, No. 12(96). Completed works:

2021 (stage I)
The aim of the restoration, conservation and reconstruction work was to restore the instrument to its former glory, with a view to using it for liturgical and concert services, while retaining all functional, original and historic structural elements, which are in large part original.

The task included the necessary reconstruction of decomposed, devastated or damaged elements. The restoration and conservation work was carried out according to the patterns of the organ's age, using appropriate materials and technology. A written and photographic documentation and inventory of the work stages was also prepared. This will be a valuable source of information for future generations.

2022 (stage II)
Due to the progressive degradation of the organ components resulting from the natural process of material ageing and wear, as well as the destructive activity of wood pests, there was an unquestionable need to subject these elements to conservation and restoration works, and in some cases also to reconstruction works, especially in the case of decomposed and irreversibly damaged elements.

2022 (Phase III)
The implementation of the project arose from the need to continue the conservation work started in 2020 on this valuable instrument. This unique instrument deserved to be given special care and attention, and every possible effort was made to restore its original brilliance and beauty through solidly and reliably executed restoration, reconstruction and conservation works. The project also results in the promotion of the instrument as an artistic legacy of our ancestors.
