The National Museum in Tokyo holds more than a dozen works by Magdalena Abakanowicz, including a series of ten gouaches featuring the artist's self-portrait from 2004. The collection also includes, among others, a bronze sculpture that was presented during the exhibition 'Modern Paradise: Japanese and Western Masterpieces from the Ohara Museum'.
