Biography:

Roman Cieślewicz (1930-1996), born in Lvov, graphic artist, representative of the Polish poster school. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Art director of the monthly magazine "Ty i Ja" (1959-1962), art director of the weekly "Elle", contributor to "Vogue" magazine. Moved abroad in 1963, lived in West Germany, Italy and France.
