Biography:

Samuel Głowiński (1703-1776), son of Mikołaj Głowiński and Eufrosinia Słomczanka. He became an archdeacon in 1725. He was parish priest in the town of Sniatyn. He became canon of the Lwów cathedral chapter in 1727, chancellor of the chapter in 1728 and custodian in 1730. He founded the Piarist college in Lwów, which was opened in 1758.
