Biography:

Seweryn Boraczok (1898-1975) - painter; active in Poland, Ukraine, Germany and the United States. Born in Sorotsk, near Trembowla. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, during which he joined the Kapist group. After a joint stay with members of the group in Paris, he moved to Glinian near Lviv. After the Second World War, he settled in Bavaria, from where he emigrated to the United States in the 1960s.
