Border post in Krompachy

A post in the tristyle marking the border of Krompachy. Spišské Vlachy was part of the Spiš Pledge from 1412 to 1772, while Krompachy and Kolinovce remained part of Hungary. Three mounds have been preserved in the tri-junction, two of which have boundary posts from 1755. The post marking Krompachy bears two miners' hammers and the letters KR above the date "1755". The border posts of Krompachy and Kolinovice come from the period of the Spiš Pledge. They therefore also mark the border between Poland and the Habsburg Monarchy.
