Biography:

Stanisław Czerniewski (1851-1912), probably born in Warsaw, son of Seweryn and Anna, née Sakowicz, entrepreneur and industrialist. He was married twice. He married for the first time Maria Józefa, Countess Rostworowska, with whom he had three children: Wiktor, Anna and Maria. Maria Józefa died in 1887. Then Czerniewski married Katarzyna Fudakowska. At the beginning of the 20th century, Stanisław Czerniewski entered into a partnership with Michał Antoni Zwoliński. Together they ran a bell factory in the village of Pustelnik near Warsaw, which was the largest of its kind in the Russian partition. Although the company prospered, it went bankrupt as a result of requisitioning during the First World War. Czerniewicz's later fate is unknown.
