A plaque commemorating the submarine ORP 'Orzeł' is located on a wall at the Estonian Maritime Museum in Tallinn. The ship was interned and partially disarmed under pressure from the German Reich on 15 September 1939. On the night of 17-18 September, Capt Jan Grudzinski commanded the ship's escape to the UK.
