Taduesz Nuckowski born in 1948 in Przemyśl, graphic artist. In 1969-1974, he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He obtained his diploma with honours in the wood engraving studio of Prof. Franciszek Bunsch and in the poster studio of Prof. Maciej Makarewicz. In 1976-1996, director of the Contemporary Art Gallery in Przemyśl. Since 1995, he has run the woodcut studio at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Rzeszów. In 2012, he was awarded the title of Professor of Visual Arts. Until 2018, he led the graphic design studio at the Faculty of Art at the University of Rzeszów, and currently at the Institute of Design Arts at the State College of Eastern Europe in Przemyśl. He is a member of the International Association of Wood Engravers XYLON.
