Biography:

Tadeusz Wojciechowski (1902-1982), born in Krakow, painter, architect, stained-glass artist, member of the Lviv "artes" association. He studied architecture at the Technical University of Lvov. He obtained his diploma in 1931. He also took private lessons in drawing and painting from Karol Gustaw Polityński, Paweł Gajewski, Kazimierz Sichulski and Jan Henryk Rosen. Between 1936 and 1937, he travelled around Europe: he received a scholarship to France, and also visited Greece, Italy, Germany and Austria. He took an active part in the artistic life of the circle connected with the "artes" association. He repeatedly presented his own works at group shows. From 1940 to 1941, he worked at the Lviv institute of fine arts, where he taught stained glass and painting composition. He designed many stained glass windows and church polychromes in Poland.
