Tadeusz Kosciuszko House in Philadelphia

Tadeusz Kosciuszko's home in Philadelphia is located at 301 Pine Street, Philadelphia, PA, at the intersection of 3rd and Pine Streets. Kosciuszko lived in this building from November 1797 to May 1798, renting a room in an inn. The house was built by carpenter Joseph Flew between 1775 and 1776. The building changed hands many times over the years until it was purchased, restored and donated to the National Park Service in the 1970s. Today, part of the second floor has been restored to the way it was when Kosciuszko was there, and it houses his bedroom, which is made available as part of the memorial tour.
