Teodor Karol Ostrowski (1853-1911), bricklayer. Born in Kościerzyna, he came to the United States in 1884. Together with carpenter Pawel Ratkowski, they erected a multi-purpose building (including a church) at St. Hedwig's Parish in Chicago in 1888.
