Biography:

Teodor Talowski (1857-1910), born in Zassov, architect, painter. He studied architecture in Vienna and Lviv. In 1881, he began working as an assistant at the Faculty of Building at the Higher Technical and Industrial School in Krakow. From 1901 he was a lecturer in drawing at the Lviv Polytechnic. Talowski was distinguished by his unique design style, combining various architectural trends in an eclectic manner that was difficult to classify unequivocally. He was the author of numerous designs for churches, townhouses, villas and palaces, including buildings outside Poland. In addition to his architectural activities, he was also involved in painting.
