Biography:

Tomasz Sobisz (1973-), born in Lębork, son of Henryk and Maria née Stencel, sculptor. Graduate of the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Gdynia-Orłowo and the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where in 1998 he was awarded a diploma with the Grand Prix of the Minister of Culture and Art. At his alma mater, he teaches sculpture and has also held the position of Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Sculpture and Intermedia. He has had numerous exhibitions as well as monumental and open-air realisations in Poland and abroad, including Germany, Sweden, Canada and Spain.
