. Nazareth. The full-figure depiction of the Virgin Mary shows her standing on an earth globe with place names on it: Vilnius, Lviv, Katyn, Kozelsk, Ostashkov and Griazovets. From under Mary's mantle come the children who found refuge in Nazareth between 1942 and 1947, and then left there with the Anders Army. At the bottom of the representation are the words alluding to a passage from "Pan Tadeusz" by Adam Mickiewicz: "This is how you will return us miraculously to our homeland's bosom!". The Nazareth play includes the notation: "Return us to our homeland's bosom".
