Information about the facility:
The brick Church of St Stanislaus was built in the 1920s for Polish economic emigrants. Its interior contains a unique sculptural work by Jan Szczepkowski in the form of a wooden main altar with a representation of Christmas, as well as a collection of dozens of banners and flags representing various types of Polish émigré organisations and social associations.

The church is on the list of French monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Completed works:
Due to technical defects in the execution of the rainwater drainage from the belfry, the destruction of parts of the vault of the nave and the weakening of the structure of the belfry occurred for many years. In addition, high levels of moisture and the possibility of fungus can threaten the monument.

As part of the project, an analysis of the state of preservation of the dome, the gutters and the way in which rainwater drains away was carried out, together with photographic and drawing documentation, and research was carried out for a specialist report on the bell tower in the church of Dourges.
