Biography:

Polish émigré activist, minister of the Polish Government in Exile. He studied law at Jan Kazimierz University in Lwów. From 1939, he served in the Polish Army in France. After the war, he completed his studies at the University of London. He was a lecturer at Henley College in Coventry. From 1978, he served successively as Minister of Justice, Minister of Education and Culture, and Minister for Foreign Affairs.
