Monument to Marshal Piłsudski in Drohobych.

In order to intensify the campaign to raise funds for the Supreme Committee to commemorate the late Marshal Piłsudski, a meeting of the Drohobych District Committee to Honour the Nation's Commander was held, chaired by starost Chmielewski. After an exhaustive discussion of the matter, it was resolved to proceed with the construction of a monument to Marshal Piłsudski in Drohobycz, only after the collection for the Supreme Committee had been completed. In order to reach the widest masses of society, two sections were chosen, one for the city and district of Drohobych and one for the town of Boryslav.
