Cemetery in Davidov

Zbigniew Hauser is not sure when the cemetery in Dawidów could have been established, due to the fact that he found there only two gravestones with Polish inscriptions and a "Podolski" cross with a fragment of a Polish inscription, dating from the mid-19th century.

It is located in the centre of the village, right next to the parish church. It has been carefully maintained and is still active. Almost all the monuments there are Ukrainian; according to Hauser, the Polish ones may have been removed after the last war.

Two Polish tombstones belong to Stanislaw Slowak and Albin Miazga. The first is "a simple gravestone with a broken cast-iron cross", the second is "an ornate cast-iron cross in a cast-iron enclosure filled with dense vegetation" and has a new inscription plaque.

According to Hauser, the Podolia cross may have been displayed on the occasion of the cemetery's dedication, with an inscription in 1992 reading "for the souls of the deceased in this cemetery [...] please give an Angelic Salutation".
