The House under the Chimeras was built in Kiev, in 1902. The multi-family house, on an irregular plan, made of brick, was designed by Wladyslaw Horodecki, an architect of Polish origin. The building is located at 10 Ordzhonikidze Street (formerly Bankowa Street). Since 2005, the building has been one of the presidential residences. The decoration of the façade was done by Emilio Sala. It features hunting scenes, animals and plants.
