This is the main church of the Diocese of Saint Joseph in Irkutsk of the Roman Catholic Church in Russia - the church was designed in 1999. The design was carried out in 2000. The consecration took place on 8 September 2000. The cathedral was designed by architects A. Chwalibóg, D. Łuniewski, J. Zalewska and M. Matyszczyk, the author of the interiors and sculptures is Professor V. Kućma, the detailed design was developed by Russian architects V. Stiegajło and A. Baduła. It is located on Griboyedov Street.
