Tombstone of Katharina Püffer

Zaleszczyki | Ukraine

Burial site marked by an obelisk on a two-stage plinth. Obelisk broken in half height. In the lower part a bas-relief harp. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. Second step of plinth covered with moulded panel with Ionic kimation, peaks and acroterions. On the four sides of the panels, in the front and rear engraved inscriptions. On the front an engraved inscription (1). On the back, an engraved inscription (2).

(2) O Flüchtigkeit! O / Eitelkeit! was ist der / Menschen Leben? / nichts als Gefahr / und imerdar in Tau / lend sorgen schweben / Das / Denkinal gewidmet / von ihren hetrblen / Hinter bliebenen / Fechten //.
