Biography:

Alfred Leo Abramowicz (1919-1999), American clergyman of Polish origin. Ordained a priest in 1943. Auxiliary bishop of Chicago since 1963 and titular bishop of Pesto. He retired in 1995. In 1993 he was awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland.
