Biography:

Benedykt (Ben) Tofil (1929-2017) - visual artist, sculptor, designer of religious places of worship and applied art, member of the Grey Ranks and the Home Army. His adventure with sacred art began thanks to Stefan Wyszynski. Thanks to him, Tofil found himself in the social circle of Cardinal Karol Wojtyła and Archbishop Kazimierz Majdański. The sculptor was the author of the monument and plaque commemorating the Polish priests imprisoned in the Dachau camp in the chapel of the Mortal Fear of Jesus there.
