Cemetery in Felsztyn Podolskiy (Hwardijsko)

The cemetery in Felsztyn Podolskiy is currently in a residual state. It is located in the south of the settlement. Zbigniew Hauser found ten Polish inscriptions on it, half of which were incomplete. Undoubtedly, it was a rather large cemetery, which is evidenced by the distribution of the preserved gravestones at greater distances. The oldest inscription is on an incomplete gravestone of Izydor Sochaczewski, who died in 1870.

The most impressive monument is the tombstone of the Czuwasz family in the shape of a knotted tree, also an unnamed tombstone: a knotted tree with a knotted cross, on which a photograph of a deceased woman has been preserved. Some of the gravestones are incomplete, usually lacking a cross.

According to local lore, the cemetery was once surrounded by a wall, but the site began to be devastated after the First World War.

Cemetery with Polish gravestones. Documentation was made for the cemetery and a cemetery charter (stored in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage). Published information about the cemetery (see bibliography)
