The Catholic cemetery in Krakowec was probably established around the middle of the 19th century, judging by the dates on the gravestones. It is located outside the town (south-west of the town), about 2 kilometres from the Polish border.

It is rather neglected, but preserved in a "not bad" way probably due to the use of the Lubienski family burial chapel located on its grounds as a parish church. Its character is rural, without a clearly defined spatial layout, but two main paths can be seen. It is rather disused.

The Lubienski family burial chapel was built in the 2nd half of the 19th century. It is decorated with cornices and pilasters, and there are family epitaphs at the entrance. To its right is the tombstone of August Mary Olgierd Poraj-Zakiej (d. 1900).

Hauser mentions interesting tombstones (often hidden in the bushes) such as that of Teresa of Kostrzewska Tarnawska (d. 1860), with a large cannelled column topped by a stone cross entwined with drapery and a rhymed inscription; a monument topped by a stone cross on the grave of Józef and Franciszka Transfeld, signed by Markowski of Lwów; or Ludwika Jabłońska (d. 1867) in the form of a stone monument topped by a vase entwined with drapery and a sculpture of a concerned woman leaning against it.
