Pechera cemetery

The burial chapel of the Potocki family has been preserved in the village of Péchera nad Bohemia. It is situated on the right bank of the river, on the edge of the manor park, 2 km west of the village. The building was erected in Neo-Romanesque style according to a design by Władysław Horodecki, as is known from a plaque on the wall inside the structure. A gate flanked by two three-storey towers decorated with columns and semicircular arcades has also been preserved in front of the chapel. The chapel is decorated with an arcaded frieze. The façade features a portal with a full-width arch and a pair of columns on the sides, as well as tall, narrow windows closed with semicircles. Two smaller portals are located in the side walls. At the back of the chapel is a semicircular apse with niches analogous to the windows and a stone vase with drapery. The crypt of the chapel has unfortunately been successfully ransacked. Of the many epitaphs of the Potocki family and other families related to them, of which traces can be seen, only seven plaques have survived.

The chapel has the status of a monument of Ukraine https://heritage.toolforge.org/api/api.php?action=search&srid=05-243-0098&format=html&srcountry=ua&srlang=uk&props=image%7Cname%7Caddress%7Cmunicipality%7Clat%7Clon%7Cid%7Ccou ntry%7Csource%7Cmonument_article%7Cregistrant_url .
