Cemetery of Polish Army soldiers killed in the Polish-Bolshevik war

In the border area, on a hill away from the road, is a small war cemetery where Polish soldiers killed in the 1920 battles were buried. Surrounding a central concrete monument - a cross - were 16 earthen graves, situated in two rows, at the head of each grave stood a cross with the name of the buried engraved on it. In the graves rest 12 soldiers known by name and 10 of undetermined personalities. The cemetery is surrounded by a metal fence. An inscription is engraved on the monument: "To the fallen heroes of the Polish Army 1920". A few years ago, the cemetery was renovated with the efforts of local Poles. Unfortunately, the work was carried out in an unprofessional manner - the individual grave fields were turned into mass fields and sprinkled with fresh gravel; a plaque of light-coloured marble was placed at the foot of the main commemoration, obscuring the original inscription on the monument. The content of the new inscription commemorates all the soldiers buried here, including those whose names are illegible.
