Biography:

Daniel Schultz (1615-1683), born in Gdańsk, Baroque painter. One of the most eminent artists active in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the 17th century. He was court painter to Jan II Casimir, Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki, and Jan III Sobieski.
