Cemetery in Chortkiv

Burial place marked by a cross on a plinth and a two-stepped slab. At the intersection of the arms a relief figure of Christ. Cast-iron cross, openwork, decorated with floral ornamentation. At the base, wider, in the form of a neo-Gothic chapel, in which a figure with a cross and chalice. Perpendicular cuboidal plinth tapering towards the top, covered by a wider rectangular panel tapering upwards. On the front of the plinth an engraved inscription (1). On the lower part of the plinth an engraved inscription (2).

ca. 1896

290 x 70 x 60 cm

concrete/jewel concrete, cast iron
