The sculptural installation by Joanna B. Troikowicz's 'Ice Fantasy' in Stockholm was created in 1989. The work is located next to the Globen metro station. It is a multi-element realisation. The 11 bas-reliefs, made of glass, white marble and concrete, span 145 metres of fencing. The bas-reliefs are located at different distances from each other, separated by a metal grid. Each relief is an irregular composition of elements of varying texture and degree of transparency. An integral part of the installation, located near the reliefs at the beginning of Palmfeltsvägen Street, is a sculpture made of glass. It takes the form of four towers that are separate but, as they get taller, lean towards each other. Each consists of horizontally stacked, one on top of the other, sea-coloured glass sheets. It is one of a number of realisations by the Polish artist in Stockholm.
