Biography:

Janina Klotylda Zakrzewska, née Dygat (1873-1941), teacher, translator and social activist. An active participant in the life of the Polish colony in Paris, where she met, among others, Olga Boznańska. In 1905, she left with her husband, the social activist Dr Ksawery Zakrzewski, for Poznań, where she was socially active and worked as a French teacher and translator.
