Józef Kazimierz Kossakowski (c.1738 - 1794), son of Dominik Kossakowski and Marianna of Zabiełłów. Bishop of Livonia from 1781, custodian of the Vilnius Cathedral Chapter in 1789, political activist, consul from the Senate in the Targowitz Confederation, member of the Grodno Confederation in 1793, publicist, novelist, comedy writer and translator.
