Biography:

Józef Nowak (born 1962) is a Polish sculptor active in Poland and Germany. Graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (1991), member of the European Sculpture Network, the Association of German Visual Artists of the Bavarian District (BBK Bayern) and the Association of Polish Visual Artists of the Cracow District. His best-known realisations include the monuments to Pope John Paul II in Hamburg and Frederic Chopin in Munich and Olga in the Shanghai Sculpture Park.
