Konstanty Hegel (1799-1876), born in Warsaw, studied at the Royal University of Warsaw, St. Luke's Academy and the French Academy in Rome, professor of sculpture at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw, selected works: monument to the Siren in Warsaw, tomb monument to Aleksandra and Stanisław Kostka Potocki in Wilanów, sculptural decoration of the Grand Theatre in Warsaw.
