The quarters of Polish Army soldiers killed in the Polish-Bolshevik war

Adjacent to the Catholic cemetery on Gorka Street is a military cemetery from 1914-1920, where soldiers of the German, Austrian and Russian armies are buried, as well as "unknown soldiers of the Bolshevik army". There is a separate quarter of Polish soldiers of 1920 in this cemetery. It is fenced with chain-link posts; the burials are arranged in six rows - three on each side of the main commemoration. In 2000. The Council for the Protection of Struggle and Martyrdom Remembrance carried out the restoration of the graves and financed the erection of a new main commemoration, on which a plaque with the inscription: "To the soldiers of the Poznań regiments / of the Polish Army / Fallen and dead / in 1920-1921 / Compatriots". It has been possible to establish 67 names of the soldiers buried here, the other graves are unnamed.
