Biography:

Leon Jarecki, clergyman (1876-1921). Pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (now Our Lady of the Scapular) parish in Wyandotte, Michigan, from 1920 to 1921. He was shot dead by an unidentified murderer to whom he had opened the door of his parsonage. Around 5,000 people gathered at his funeral.
