Biography:

Leszek Romuald Sołonowicz (1931-1984), born in Legionowo. He studied architecture at the Gdańsk University of Technology and the Warsaw University of Technology. He obtained his diploma in 1957. He took part in designing many architectural complexes, including: the Praga I housing estate and the Victoria Hotel in Warsaw. In 1977 he left for the United Arab Emirates, where he designed mosques, shopping centres, bank headquarters, residential houses and residences.
