On the outskirts of the village, near Alksnių Street, there is a disused cemetery where only one grave remains today. Resting there is an unknown soldier of the Reconnaissance Detachment of the Vilnius Region of the Home Army, commanded by Lieutenant Władysław Kitowski "Grom". He died on 7.07.1944 during a German air raid. Many years after the war, thanks to the efforts of a resident of Skojdziszki, St. Żaworonek, a monument was erected on the soldier's grave: a boulder with the date "VII 1944" and an engraved cross. On 11.07.1993 a tall oak cross was placed next to the boulder and consecrated.
