Cemetery in Kokutkovce

Burial site marked by cross on two-stage base and two-stage plinth. Cross on its own plinth and base. At the intersection of the arms a cast-iron relief figure of Christ crucified, above an engraved titulus. The first step of the plinth with profiled upper edges. Second step of pedestal high, enclosed by moulding. On the front side an engraved frame closed with a semicircle, in it an engraved inscription. On the right side, a panel closed with a semicircle, in which a relief of St. Michael the Archangel is carved. The figure standing on a pile of stones, shown frontally, wearing a short tunic and helmet. In his right hand he holds an oval shield with an engraved cross, in his left hand he holds a balance. On the left side a panel in which is a relief figure of St Agnes (?). The figure on her own pedestal, shown frontally in slight contrapposto, with an elongated figure. She is dressed in long robes with a veil on her head falling to her shoulders. Right hand folded on breast, in left hand a book.

Inscription:

MICHAŁ/ KAZIK/ żył lat 61 / zmarł r. 1888 / AGNIESZKA / KAZIK / żyła lat 59 / zmarła r 1896. //.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2017-2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w książce "Cmentarze dawnego powiatu tarnopolskiego", t. 1 i 2, pod red. A. S. Czyż i B. Gutowskiego, Warszawa 2017-2019 roku. Karty inwentaryzacyjne opublikowane zostały w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
