Tombstone of Agnieszka and Stefania Pelych

Ihrowica | Ukraine

Burial site marked by a statue of the Virgin Mary on a two-stepped plinth and three-stepped base. Statue on its own base. Mary shown in contrapposto, hands in prayer gesture, wearing long gown, cloak and veil, feet barefoot. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. Second step of plinth with plain frieze, covered with wide moulded panels. On the front an engraved inscription.
